Chongqing: China PR’s AFC Women’s Asian Cup Jordan 2018 build-up is set to continue as the eight-time Asian champions prepare to host three high-quality national teams on home soil next month.

From October 19 to 24, the 2017 Yongchuan Four Nations tournament will play host to DPR Korea, Brazil and Mexico’s national teams as the Steel Roses return to international action for the first time since a June friendly win over Finland.

Despite three consecutive losses to Australia, Brazil remain ninth in FIFA’s World Rankings, while DPR Korea round out the top 10, and are currently rated as the third best team in Asia.

Mexico – ranked 26th – have never beaten China PR, but did manage a draw when the two sides met in Shenzen in early 2016.

Bruno Bini’s Chinese squad will continue their preparation for Jordan 2018 with two away friendlies against Australia in November, before competing in the EAFF Football Championship alongside DPR Korea, Korea Republic and hosts Japan in December.

December promises to be an exciting month for women’s football in Asia, with the official draw ceremony for the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup to be held on December 4.
