Kuala Lumpur: The inaugural AFC Women’s Futsal Train The Trainers Selection Seminar has successfully concluded in Malaysia.

In total, 12 participants - women futsal coaches with coaching and playing experience, current national or club futsal players as well as head coaches and assistant coaches - attended the seminar. 

Commenting on the event, the AFC’s Director of Competitions, Shin Man Gil, said: “The AFC is proud to be the world’s leading football Confederation in women’s futsal development. 

“The AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015 was the first ever pan-Asian women’s futsal championship. It is currently the only continental women’s futsal competition being staged in the world. The competition highlighted the AFC’s global leadership in the game. 

“The AFC is committed to offering its support and services, and this seminar is part of that commitment. Futsal is a high priority for the AFC because we know that Asia has the quality to succeed at the highest level”

“I trust that the knowledge transfer the course can provide will be of great benefit to all participants.”
